REPEATED DESTINY

Run.....the word kept echoing in my ears, their screams, their plea for mercy. I closed my eyes trying to focus on my path. My feet was aching....yet I ran, I ran like a coward. Leaving them to die. "It's all because of you. You're a Monster!" The words kept repeating in my brain. My thoughts came to a halt when I heard their footsteps approaching. I ran faster, not being able to see anything. The thorns were marking my skin, painting my flesh with my own blood.Suddenly I felt something cold beneath my feet, freezing yet soothing. The next step never came, there was no land beneath me. Water....just water. I tried to lift myself up,but it felt like someone was pulling me, almost calling me. I was drowning."Is this the moment I die?", it was the only thought that came to my mind before everything went black.
